Bruce has over 22 years' collective experience as a trial lawyer advising and appearing as counsel for clients in all Superior and Appellate Court jurisdictions on complex corporate and commercial litigation.
Bruce graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1994 and completed his articles at Kott Gunning Solicitors where he remained and practiced Criminal Law until 1998. During this time, he appeared as defence counsel in a wide range of criminal trials (including trials by jury) being conducted in all State Courts.
During 1998 until 2005, Bruce practiced as a sole practitioner and then relocated to Sydney where he accepted the position of in-house dispute resolution counsel for Westpac Banking Corporation.
From 2005 until present, Bruce continues to practice corporate and commercial litigation with the firm now known as Hager Grubb & Partners and regularly appears as counsel in all State (and interstate) jurisdictions.
When Bruce is not practising law he spends time with his family, friends and pursues his ongoing interests in music, the arts and all things associated with the ocean.
